Exploring Seoul with the Ricoh GR IV!

One of our team members brought the Ricoh GR IV along with us during a trip to Seoul in April, and it was truly such a fun time with this camera, and we're here to share some photos and go over why this camera was such a lovely device to bring around while travelling.

Let's first go over as to why we think this camera is great!

The GR IV continues Ricoh’s long-standing obsession with the essentials:

Fast startup, and minimal friction between seeing and shooting

With just a press of the power button, the camera starts up in a second so you're not missing out on moments that you want to capture in front of you. This really helped a lot while being in the metropolitan city that is Seoul, since everything moves so fast.

Pocketable size

SOOO important when you're travelling, since you don't necessarily want to have to deal with carrying a camera that's big and bulky that takes up space in your bag. I brought the camera around in a small shoulder bag and it fit well with my personal belongings, without adding any noticeable space or weight!

APS-C image quality and a sharp fixed lens

For such a small camera, you'd be surprised at the amount of photo quality it packs in! Perfect for capturing moments, all while being as close to real life as possible. (Nothing will beat seeing with your own eyes though!)
