The first fisheye lens for the RF series, this lens brings an immensely wide 190° angle of view, both circular and diagonal coverage depending on focal length and format, and a host of convenient new design details for working with the unique lens. Distinct Field of View Fisheye Rendering and Image Quality Ultra-wide-angle fisheye lens offers truly unique rendering with strong distortion that is a perfect partner to action sports and action subjects, as well as a dynamic option for landscape, nature, underwater, astrophotography, and architecture applications. Optical design includes five ultra-low dispersion glass elements and two aspherical elements; these specialized optics promote high color accuracy and sharpness along with a compact, lightweight construction. Air Sphere (ASC) and Super Spectra (SSC) coatings reduce flare and ghosting for improved contrast.
